Acne Diet

There
are literally thousands of myths that surround Acne,
especially myths about the cause of Acne. Probably the most
well known is the myth that a Diet high in saturated fats
(French fries, chocolate, oils) will cause Acne flair ups.
However, extensive scientific studies have not found a
connection between diet and acne. In other words, food does
not cause acne. Not chocolate. Not French fries – nothing.
However, if you notice that when you eat something your acne
tends to become worse you may be allergic to that food and
your acne is telling you that your body can’t handle that
food. Nonetheless, some people insist that certain foods
affect their acne. Keep in mind that a balanced diet full of
grains, vitamins and minerals will help boost your immune
system which will help fight off acne bacteria.
